Will there be an age restriction?
​
This event is 18+. Some of our vendor items, programming, and signage will not be suitable for audiences under the age of eighteen. No one under the age of 18 will be permitted into any event programming.
When will tickets be available for purchase?
​
Our ticket sale begins on July 19, 2024 at 6:00 PM EST
Tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis.

Where do I buy a ticket?
​
We will be using Eventbrite.
Photo ID will be required at registration and will be matched to the name of the ticket purchaser.

What travel information will I need?
​
The closest airport is Portland International Airport (PDX). There is a tram that runs from the airport to the hotel. Currently, the cost is $3/person.
Is parking available?
​
Parking is available whether you are staying at the hotel or not. Parking information and fees will be provided at a later date.
Will the event be ADA compliant?
​
We strongly encourage you to share your access needs with us when purchasing your ticket. That will be your first opportunity to tell us what we can do to help make your experience better at the event. We know that we cannot predict or anticipate every unique need so we will have open lines of ongoing communication with readers, authors, volunteers, vendors and all other attendees who express a need for accommodations.
Please note that most of the flooring in the venue is covered in carpet.

When should I arrive?

Early registration will be available on Thursday night if you plan to arrive a day early.
Programming begins on Friday
When will the schedule be released?
​
We will release the detailed schedule approximately 6-8 weeks prior to the event.
How many authors will I be able to see?
​
We can't guarantee a certain number of authors. Leading up to the event, we will collect information from our readers and authors that should help you meet most, if not all, of the authors you are hoping to see.

Will authors offer pre-orders for the event?
​
Yes! We'll have pre-order information added to the website soon.

Where will I find updates and information about Queers and Quills?
​
Updates will be shared via newsletter, email, our Facebook Attendee Group, and our social media accounts.
