OUR MISSION
TO CREATE INCLUSIVE SPACES WHERE QUEER STORIES THRIVE, COMMUNITY COMES FIRST, AND UNDERREPRESENTED VOICES ARE AMPLIFIED.
WHAT WE DO
We host dynamic, high-energy events filled with:
→ Panel discussions that go beyond surface-level topics
→ Book signings that connect readers with their favorite voices
→ Vendor markets that spotlight inclusive, values-aligned businesses
→ Social gatherings where lifelong friendships are formed
Every Queers & Quills event is designed to foster community, visibility, and joy. A portion of the proceeds is donated to organizations supporting the LGBTQIA2S+ community.

With Mahogany Mail, Marley Valentine founded Queers & Quills to bring together authors, readers, narrators, and vendors who share a common goal: to amplify diverse love stories and foster inclusivity within the romance world.
MEET THE FACES BEHIND QUEER & QUILLS
MAHOGANY MAIL
Mahogany Mail is a bookish business that sprouted from a love of stories written in color. Our team is made of queer people who have found themselves and their first friends in the pages of queer books, and allies who truly learned the meaning of 'love is love' at the hands of fictional queer characters.
Mahogany Mail is committed to not just creating consumers, but creating compassionate people compelled to action.
Together with Marley Valentine, Mahogany Mail designed Queers and Quills to be a space for people who are often relegated to corners of the room. From our desire to see queer HEAs take center stage, this event was born.
GET INVOLVED IN QUEERS & QUILLS 2027

“Queers & Quills was the first event where I felt completely seen—not just as a reader, but as a human being. The panels were meaningful, the energy was electric, and the sense of community was unmatched. It’s not just about books—it’s about belonging.”
— Attendee, 2025 Event
