Queers and Quills is a two-day romance Convention in portland oregon, for Authors, Narrators and Readers of stories that center LGBTQIA2S+ characters and experiences.

 

At Queers and Quills we celebrate and amplify the voices of authors of queer stories across all sub-genres of romance. Our mission is to create an inclusive and empowering space that fosters open discussions on writing queer narratives, promoting mental health representation in literature, and advancing diversity and inclusion within the BIPOC community's representation in books. 

 

Through panel discussions, social gatherings, book signings, and an opportunity to support vendors who align with our values, we aim to connect readers and authors, both traditional and indie published, fostering community, networking, and the growth of their readership. 

 

We invite sponsors, vendors, authors and readers alike, to join us in championing this cause and supporting organizations that stand for equality and visibility, through the power of queer storytelling.

 

As part of our commitment to do something good, we are donating a portion of the funds raised from this event to various nationwide and local organizations that directly benefit the LGBTQIA2S+ community.
